Our kava is ethically sourced from small-scale farmers across Vanautu. As a trusted kava supplier in Australia, we ensure all our kava is of noble variety and laboratory tested to meet high safety and quality standards. Rest assured, every batch of kava from Root & Pestle is organically grown and carefully processed to maintain kavalactone levels.

As an online kava supplier, we ship Australia-wide except to the Northern Territory, using fast and reliable couriers. Most orders are dispatched within one to two business days, and free shipping is available on orders over $200. Your total shipping cost will depend on the size of your order. At this time, Root & Pestle is unable to guarantee delivery outside of Australia.

We accept major payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard and Google Pay. Our online store is fully secure, using encrypted technology to keep your transactions and personal data safe.

This will depend on the type of kava powder you purchase, as we offer two forms of powder which must be prepared differently. To prepare our “Traditional Grind” kava powder, add water and the powder into a strainer bag, place it in a bowl and squeeze the bag for several minutes before straining it and drinking the juice left behind. When stored properly, our kava powders have a shelf life of around 3 years. To maintain freshness, keep your kava powder in a cool, dry place, sealed in its original packaging or in an airtight container away from sunlight.
